Xavier is latest school to offer diaper dandy Tyus Battle.

Xavier has offered 2016 6’4 guard Tyus Battle who just completed his freshman season at Gill St. Bernard's High School (NJ) where he averaged 12.9 points and 4.4 rebounds.

Despite being just a freshman, Battle reportedly has picked up scholarship offers from Indiana, UConn and Villanova recently.  He also reports offers or interest from Cincinnati, Miami, URI, Rutgers, Seton Hall, SMU and Syracuse. Battle is the son of Gary Battle, a former All-American at New Haven and a 1,000 point scorer at Colonia High School back in the late '80s. Battle is a combo guard that drives through the lane but also can pull-up and shoot, or pass the ball around to get his teammates involved in the offense. He also has a great handle and is a lock-down defender. Many scouts think Battle will be a very complete player once he bulks up and perfects his range from beyond the arc. Battle took an unofficial visit to UConn this past Friday March 15th.
