GW's Lasan Kromah joins UConn for senior season

Former George Washington University guard Lasan Kromah has joined the UConn basketball program for his final season of eligibility in 2013-14. As a graduate student, Kromah will be available to play immediately for head coach Kevin Ollie and the Huskies without sitting out for a season as is normally the case with undergraduate transfers.

Kromah, 6'5 205 lbs from Greenbelt, Maryland, was the second leading scorer for the Colonials last season, averaging 10.1 and 3.7 assists per game. As a freshman in 2009-10, Kromah played for current UConn assistant coach Karl Hobbs at George Washington on his way to Atlantic-10 All-Rookie team honors.
