Penn State transfer Jermaine Marshall picks Arizona St

Former Penn State guard Jermaine Marshall has decided to transfer to Arizona State. As a graduate transfer, Marshall will be available to play immediately next season for the Sun Devils and head coach Herb Sendek. Florida State, Creighton and North Carolina were also reportedly interested in landing Marshall.

Marshall originally intended to leave Penn State to pursue a professional career overseas, but did not hire an agent and later requested his release to transfer. Marshall averaged 15.3 points per game for head coach Pat Chambers and the Nittany Lions last season. Marshall has one year of NCAA eligibility remaining.
