Ben Bentil plays in front of Villanova, LaSalle, Baylor, UCLA coaches

Ben Bentil follows through on a 3 in warmups as Baylor coach Scott Drew watches from above.

Class of 2014 power forward Ben Bentil played in front of coaches for Villanova, UCLA, Baylor and LaSalle among others Wednesday night in Philadelphia. Bentil, 6'8 225 lbs out of St. Andrew's School in Middletown Delaware, already holds offers from Villanova, LaSalle, Temple, St. Joe's, Delaware, Providence, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Cincinnati and Penn State.

Villanova head coach Jay Wright and assistant Baker Dunleavy, UCLA's Steve Alford, Baylor's Scott Drew and LaSalle's Dr. John Giannini looked on from the stands of the Reebok Breakout Classic at Philly U as Bentil squared off against other top rated recruits in point guard Josh Perkins and small forward Victor Law (a Northwestern commit). Bentil, rated 4 stars by both ESPN and Rivals, plays hard and has the size, strength and athleticism to be a big part of the future plans for one of these lucky teams.
