Steve Lavin on hand to see 2013 Rysheed Jordan on Friday night

iR
UPDATE:

St. John's head basketball coach Steve Lavin attended Friday night's Roberts Vaux (Pa)- Church Farm (Pa)  Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) playoff game to check in on all-everything senior guard Rysheed Jordan.  Jordan led Roberts Vaux to a 68-64 victory and a trip to the PIAA semi-finals against rival Math, Civics & Sciences Charter School (Pa) next Tuesday.

ANALYSIS:

The 6’3” Jordan is widely recognized as the nation's top un-committed senior guard. Lavin and the St John’s staff have watched Jordan play on numerous occasions this season. Jordan, who is down to UCLA, Temple and St. John’s, is expected to announce his decision after the PIAA playoffs. When asked about Jordan’s decision recently, Roberts Vaux head coach Jamie Ross said "He's like the wind, he blows in one direction one day, a different the next."
