Aaron Gordon wins McDonald's MVP, leads West to victory

Arizona commit Aaron Gordon impressed the crowd with several athletic dunks on his way to 24 points and 8 rebounds, leading the West to a 110-99 win over the East in this year's McDonald's All-American high school basketball game.

This performance against the best competition in the country tops off a big week for Gordon, during which the forward committed to head coach Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats over Kentucky, Oregon, and Washington. Top ranked prospect Andrew Wiggins paced the East team with 19 points. Wiggins considers Kentucky, Florida State, Kansas and North Carolina as he remains unsigned as a coveted recruit. John Calipari and Kentucky had an exceptional group of incoming talent on display in the game including guards Aaron and Andrew Harrison, center Dakari Johnson, and forwards Marcus Lee and Julius Randle. Especially if they also land Wiggins, this year's Kentucky group could be the best recruiting class ever.
