Jamal Aytes gets Looks from Top NCAA Programs

After a week of AAU tournaments in Las Vegas, many athletes stood out to coaches, but these majority of players were committed to schools already. During a week of AAU tournaments in Las Vegas, college coaches were out preying for "ready-to-play" prospects to fill the holes for their respected teams. One name that jumped out was Jamal Aytes, 6 ft 6 Power Foward out of JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Califorinia. Undeclared, this 6 ft 6 215 lb kid has a high major motor and had BYU's complete staff on hand watching, while other schools including Notre Dame's Mike Brey and Arizona's Sean Miller took looks at this young man.

With a 6'6 215 lb pound frame and a high motor many teams would love to have this kid play for their teams. He played very well against rising recruit 6'9 foward, Goodluck Okonoboh out of Wilbraham & Monson in Massachuessets. So far Aytes has visited BYU, and Boston College while also being pursued by Miami, Kansas State, Northwestern, West Virginia, and Gonzaga. "I'm going to take visits next week," Aytes said, pinpointing Gonzaga and West Virginia as two schools he wanted to check out.
