University of Michigan-Dearborn joins inRecruit


  

The Director of Basketball Operations of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Dymetrius Ware  has joined inRecruit.

About Dymetrius Ware. Dymetrius Ware is the Director of Basketball Operations of University of Michigan-Dearborn basketball with over twenty years of coaching experience. His first professional coaching job came as an assistant men's basketball coach at Oakland Community College in Farmington Hills under Head Coach Len Reed in the 1995-96 season. Ware became the Associate Head Coach the following season before taking over the reigns as Head Coach for the 1997-98 season. He took over a program that was 5-21 the previous season and led them to the State Playoffs and NJCAA Division II Regional Tournament. At the end of his four year tenure at OCC, Ware was the 4th longest tenured coach in school history and ranked 5th on the schools all time wins list. In 2005, Coach Ware joined the staff of the Great Lakes Storm of the Continental Basketball Association. He worked for Russ Bergman whose team advanced to the Conference Finals that season. Coach Ware has coached at the high school level for the past few seasons. His coaching stops have included stints with Inkster High School, Cherry Hill Academy, and most recently at Riverside West Academy in Dearborn. Coach Ware also assisted on Steve Hall's staff at Detroit Rogers Academy where he was a part of the staff of thee Class D State Championships. Ware holds two M.A. degrees, one from Wayne State(2004), and another from Siena Heights University(2010). Coach Ware has been married for over twenty years to his lovely wife Adrienne. The Ware's reside in Detroit with their daughter Porscha. Their son Dominique is a graduate of the University of Michigan and now attends graduate school at Western Michigan University. Their other son Devin is a freshman at Kentucky State University.
