Timberview High's own Alex Robinson's Stock Rising

ESPN 100 point guard 2014 Alex Robinson out of Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas, had previously injured his shoulder in July. It happened at the GASO event in Texas, but it hasn’t slowed his recruitment. Throughout tournament play this summer, 6’1 175 lb Robinson has turned his game around and played his way into major lock status. He’s a guy who is moving up the point guard list, going from secondary to primary target for some programs. He’ll visit Vanderbilt unofficially within the next two weeks and he’ll officially visit Texas A&M on Sept. 4. He’s already been to Pittsburgh. Kansas called him this week, while Florida State, Miami, Memphis and Minnesota have him high on their lists.

Robinson is a very skilled and complete point guard that does a good job of running his team. He has good size and length and his feel for the game is at a high level as well. Robinson pushes the ball on the break and does a great job of advancing with the pass or dribble with great pace. He is  very talented and has an excellent feel for the game. He seems to have an answer for whatever the defense throws at him and his upside is terrific with continued improvement.
