Keyshawn Woods commits to Charlotte

Keyshawn looks like a perfect fit in his Team Charlotte Jersey

2014 SG Keyshawn Woods out of Gastonia, North Carolina, has just announced per source that he will be joining coach Alan Major and his staff at Charlotte. 6’3, 180 lb Woods had narrowed his choice to seven schools, UT Chattanooga, College of Charleston, George Mason, Houston, Tulsa, Charlotte, and UNC Greensboro. A product out of Northside Christian Academy,  he is said to be great from mid range, a great defender that uses his quickness to stay in front and very smart. He is an “eye-catcher” and is “powerfully built wing that flat out attacks the rim”. Charlotte has only two shooting guards on the roster, and they are both walk-ons. Woods looks to be an immediate upgrade to the two guard position, and has a strong possibility to start for the 49ers.

Woods was under the radar, but as tournament play picked up he started to shoot up coache’s boards. Woods finished July with 20+ offers.  He says he picked up Duquense, Towson, College of Charleston, Houston, Campbell, UNC Wilmington, James Madison, Northeastern, Tulsa, etc… in July alone. Alan Major can expect big things from this young man, when he suits up for the 49ers in the upcoming season.
