2015's Top Wing Prospect Malachi Richardson Trims List

Malachi Richardson is a tremendous prospect for the 2015 class

Malachi Richardson, one of the top wings in the Class of 2015 out of Trenton Catholic in New Jersey, cut his list Thursday. The 6’5, 195 lb Richardson from Hamilton New Jersey, tweeted Thursday that he’s now considering Syracuse, North Carolina, Rutgers, Indiana, UConn, Ohio State, Georgetown, Florida, Miami, Kansas, Villanova and Arizona. As reported by SNY TV, he will visit Indiana Aug. 24. He will also visit Villanova Aug. 28. Richardson recently transferred back to Trenton Catholic after helping Roselle Catholic win the New Jersey Tournament of Champions title last season alongside incoming Syracuse freshman forward Tyler Roberson.

Scouts around the league are speculating Richardson could have Syracuse at the top of his list, with former teammate Tyler Roberson already on board. Scouts rave that “its staggering the level of polish Richardson's game has as just a rising sophomore”. He needs to get stronger as is the case with most young men, but he has a smooth stroke and has great size at 6’5.  Ranked 11th in his 2015 class, Malachi is a tremendous talent that programs can only hope to have on their respected teams.
