Myles Turner: Tree City Gem

Myles Turner

2014 Euless Trinity big man Myles Turner is no stranger to attention for his efforts on the basketball court. Turner ranked a lot closer to 100th in the nation than he did the top earlier this summer but now, the 6-11 prospect is in high demand and is ranked No. 6 overall in the 2014 Rivals150.

Consistently throughout the summer, Turner has caught the attention of college coaches and basketball recruiting analysts at nearly every event he's attended. The big man's stock really started to take off at the prestigious NBPA Top 100 camp where he performed very well.

At this stage his game offensively revolves around his stellar ability to face up on the post and shoot mid range jumpers while using his speed to get around defenders.  He also plays extremely well on the defensive end using his fantastic length, quickness, and athleticism.

At this point the teams that have offered a scholarship and are showing the most interest in Turner include Duke, Kansas, Ohio St, Texas, Baylor, and SMU.

Turner has taken one unofficial visit this summer to SMU. The only other visit he has scheduled at this stage is to Kansas on October 4.
