Kris Jenkins All-Met Player of Year

Villanova signee Kris Jenkins, a 6'6 forward from Upper Marlboro Maryland, has been named All-Met Player of the Year.

Jenkins averaged over 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals per game this year while leading Gonzaga College High School to an undefeated regular season in Washington Catholic Athletic Conference play. For Villanova next year, Jenkins will hope to bring his size and agility to create matchup problems both inside and outside. Using a 250 pound frame coupled with skilled athleticism, Jenkins can overpower smaller players and get around more physical competition, similar to the matchup problems engineered by current Wildcat forward JayVaughn Pinkston.
