ESPN 100's Tyler Ulis Trims List to Three

Could Tyler Ulis shown above, be running the show in Lexington come 2014?

Four star guard Tyler Ulis has eliminated USC from his recruiting list and is down to Iowa, Kentucky and Michigan State, according to his father. Ulis, a 5’9,150 lb point guard from Marian Catholic in Chicago Heights, Illinois is ranked No. 38 in the Class of 2014 and is the No. 8 point guard by ESPN. It has been made aware that Coach John Calipari of Kentucky has offered a scholarship to Ulis, after losing out on highly touted Emmaunel Mudiay to SMU. Ulis made an official visit to Iowa this past weekend and will make official visits to Michigan State on Sept. 6-7 and Kentucky on Sept. 8-9. Ulis’s father believes he could make a decision as earl as September 14th.

Kentucky is still very bitter on losing out on Mudiay, but thats the business and Ulis is next on their list. Kentucky should hope Ulis doesn’t take it as an insult that he is now Plan B. Michigan State has made it very aware that Ulis is their top priority, and Iowa has just recently had Ulis on campus to state their pitch to this young point guard. Sources have indicated a possible package deal could be in the works, where ESPN’s No.1 ranked prospect center Jahlil Okafor has publicly said he would love to team up with Ulis.
