Three Star Shooting Guard Justin Bibbs commits to Virginia Tech

Justin Bibbs above, will be a huge problem for ACC shooting guards to defend, come the 2014 season.
UPDATE:

Taking to twitter, Montverde Academy’s own Justin Bibb announced he will indeed suit up for coach James Johnson and the Hokies in 2014. 6’5, 190 Bibbs an Dayton, Ohio native was said to be choosing between Virginia Tech and Xavier. But after another highly touted recruit JP Macura chose Xavier earlier today, Bibbs decision was made a little easier, deciding to become a Hokie. Compared to an “Baby James Harden” this shooting guard causes problems with his size and length and is a huge land for the Hokies. Bibbs also had offers from Cincinnati, Dayton, UCF, Kent State, Cleveland State, Xavier, and his choice Virginia Tech.

ANALYSIS:

Playing in the AAU circuit for the Ohio Basketball Club, Bibbs had an successful summer, impressing scouts along the way to an offer from Virginia Tech during the Super 64 in Las Vegas in late July. Bibbs is a skilled lefty swingman whose attack is based around his ability to make shots. He has a smooth and fluid stroke with a high release point that allows him to make tough shots over top of defenders. Coach James Johnson and his staff are resting easy tonight, landing a very skilled two guard for the future of their respected program.
