Deshaun Thomas leaving Ohio State early for NBA

Deshaun Thomas, a 6'7 forward, will leave Ohio State following his junior season to declare for the NBA draft. Thomas led OSU to an Elite Eight run this season with 19.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, best on the team in both categories.

Projected to be a late 1st to early 2nd round pick, Thomas heads for the NBA following a productive season for the Buckeyes in a very physical Big Ten conference. To help replace him, Ohio State has signed two 4-star recruits in 6'8 forward Marc Loving from Toledo OH, and 6'3 shooting guard Kameron Williams from Baltimore MD.
