Duke, NC State interested in Chris Silva, Isaiah Briscoe

Power forward Chris Silva at the Reebok Breakout Classic

Roselle Catholic point guard Isaiah Briscoe and power forward Chris Silva, both in the class of 2015, have caught the attention of more major college coaches, this time from Duke and NC State. Former Duke player and special assistant coach Jon Scheyer intends to visit Roselle Catholic in New Jersey to watch both players while the team is in the New York City area this week. Coach K's attendance is not confirmed, but is a possibility. NC State head coach Mark Gottfried visited over the weekend and offered Briscoe a spot with the Wolfpack. Gottfried continues to recruit Silva (watch exclusive inRecruit video of a Silva dunk ), as well as 2016 Roselle Catholic guard Asante Gist.

Silva, (6'9 220 lbs), is one of the most athletic shot blockers and rebounders among the class of 2015 big men. Originally from Gabon, Africa, Silva has already earned offers from Syracuse, Creighton, Seton Hall, Cincinnati, and Rutgers with additional interest from Villanova and Miami. In addition to Duke's interest and NC State's recent offer, Briscoe (6'3 215 lbs) also holds offers from Syracuse, Indiana, Arizona, Baylor, UConn, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Villanova, Florida, Florida State, Rutgers, Seton Hall, UCLA, St. John's, SMU, DePaul, Cincinnati and Pitt.
