Riley LaChance Tweets his commitment to Vanderbilt

Technology is forever changing the ways of our society and the world of college basketball isn't any different from anywhere else. That's why when Brooksfield Central High point guard Riley LaChance tweeted out, "Just made the best decision of my life officially committed to Vanderbilt University!!So exicted to be apart of the Commodore family!!!" It meant that the Commodores solidified a solid recruiting class for 2014.

LaChance is a 6'2 point guard that potentially has the ability to become a great floor general for the Commodores going forward.  The future Commodore chose Vandy over Creighton, Minnesota and Iowa. Landing LaChance gives the Commodores a sharp shooting point guard that can knock down spot up threes and can also knock down threes off the dribble. LaChance isn't physically imposing by any means but the point guard plays with a grit and determination that Head Coach Keving Stallings will appreciate.

LaChance joins other 2014 recruits Wade Baldwin out of St.Joseph High School in New Jersey and guard Matthew Fisher-Davis out of Charlotte. Once LaChance gets a chance to develop he can be better version of  former Syracuse player Andy Rautins.
