Brandon Alston commits to Lehigh

Lehigh head coach Dr. Brett Reed has landed three recruits for 2014.

Brandon Alston, a 6'5 class of 2014 shooting guard for Life Center Academy in New Jersey, has committed to Lehigh University. Alston began the season playing with St. Benedict's in Newark when he first arrived in New Jersey. Originally from Vienna, Virginia, Alston played AAU basketball with the Boo Williams program.

Alston joins two other players in the Mountain Hawks' 2014 recruiting class in point guard Kahron Ross from Jonesboro, Arkansas, and shooting guard Tyler Jenkins from Fortville, Indiana. Alston considered reclassifying to 2015, as he is listed on some websites, but decided to join Lehigh for next year.
