Michigan State to visit nation’s top 2014 prospect tonight

The consensus overall top prospect in the class of 2014, center Jahlil Okafor from Whitney Young High School (IL), will host Michigan State and head coach Tom Izzo for an in-home visit tonight.

Besides being incredibly athletic, Okafor is a true back-to-the-basket center with NBA size as he stands 6’10” 280lbs. His skill level is off the charts and he has exceptional hands for a big man. He's a dominant rebounder, plays exceptional interior defense and can shoot the mid-range jumper. Okafor holds offers from all the top college programs including UNC, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan State and Florida. Okafor hosted Duke and head coach Mike Krzyzewski for an in-home visit just yesterday.
